I don’t get why Christians are crankier about gays in the military than about Christians in the military. Sexual orientation has little to do with your eligibility to wield state-sanctioned violence, but your love orientation has everything to do with it.
And the Christian’s love orientation is to extend to enemies, right? So… isn’t a cross-bearer becoming an arms-bearer a bigger outrage here? People should spend less time protecting the military from gay folk and more time protecting Christian folk from the military.
